Uncharted PC Port Projects & Current Releases
Updated · Checked against SuperMedo Windows v0.3.6, spacepepperoni Linux v0.3.6-linux.81, Pepin208 Linux source source@1d027419b072, Alyx-ML macOS source source@cdf2be09ef0b
Choose SuperMedo v0.3.6 for Windows or spacepepperoni v0.3.6-linux.81 for Linux and Steam Deck. Both use your own prepared PS4 Nathan Drake Collection data and offer Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 through a launcher.
Start with a current formal release for your operating system. On Linux, plan around the current game-specific limits, especially frequent Uncharted 3 crashes. The project choices, filenames and requirements below help you select the program before returning to installation.

SuperMedo Windows
SuperMedo is Mohammed Albarghouthi, the same developer behind the SuperMedo Windows Bloodborne port. His Uncharted project runs the original PS4 collection's game code on Windows and translates graphics to Vulkan.
The Windows program provides Play, Game, Display, Controls, Advanced and Log pages. You can select a game, set its data and saves folders, remap keyboard or controller input, and choose display options before starting. Keyboard, mouse and controller input work together.
Use an Intel Core 4th-generation / Haswell or newer CPU, AMD Ryzen, or AMD FX. The current v0.3.6 program handles the missing MOVBE instruction on AMD FX. Intel Core 3rd generation and older remain unsupported in this Uncharted version.
For graphics, use Vulkan 1.3, a current driver and 6 GB or more of video memory. Allow about 8 GB of free memory, counting RAM plus the page file. A 4 GB graphics card can run out of video memory during play; turn off anti-aliasing and frame generation if using one.
Windows is the route for the main SuperMedo package. Keep its executable names and settings instructions together when following Install on Windows.
spacepepperoni Linux and Steam Deck
spacepepperoni maintains the Linux fork. It adds Linux packaging, an AppImage, changes to saves management, updates and Steam Deck mode. The current interface is organized as Library, Settings, Controls, Files and Advanced.
Use 64-bit x86 Linux with glibc 2.41 or newer. The listed examples include SteamOS 3.7+, Debian 13, Ubuntu 25.04, Fedora 42 and Arch. The graphics requirement is Vulkan 1.3 with 6 GB or more of video memory, alongside about 8 GB of free RAM. Choose CUSA02320 v1.00 as the prepared game directory.
The release remains a work in progress:
| Game | Current release condition |
|---|---|
| GameUncharted 1: Drake's Fortune | Current release conditionReaches gameplay and seems stable |
| GameUncharted 2: Among Thieves | Current release conditionReaches gameplay with physics glitches |
| GameUncharted 3: Drake's Deception | Current release conditionCrashes often and is not yet fully playable |
For Steam Deck, use the AppImage and the launcher's Add to Steam action. Steam Deck mode starts automatically on SteamOS. This release targets 60 FPS, offers 30 FPS as an alternative, and applies 1280×800, FIFO and fullscreen with AA and frame generation initially off. Select a target appropriate to the game you are playing, and keep the Linux limits above in mind.
Current stable releases
These are the current formal program downloads. Sizes are exact asset sizes in bytes; the date is the formal release's UTC publication date.

Swipe or use the arrow keys to see all columns.
- Open the release for your chosen project.
- Expand Assets.
- Select the packaged filename above.
- Continue with that project's installation steps.
GitHub also offers automatically generated Source code archives. Choose the named packaged program to follow the installation guide. On Linux, the AppImage is the route used in this guide; the tar archive is available for the alternative packaged setup.
The release download supplies the port program. Keep your prepared game data and saves available separately. Before replacing an existing program, close its running game and back up your saves. Windows supports updating through its launcher or extracting the current program ZIP over the old program folder. The Linux AppImage updater replaces the AppImage and restarts the launcher; other Linux installations open the fork's Releases page.
Use the complete upstream release lists to check later updates: Windows Releases and Linux Releases.
Source branches and prereleases
A source branch or a tag marked Pre-release is a separate build choice, with its own state and requirements.
Pepin208/uncharted_pc_linux has Linux source branches, and Alyx-ML/uncharted_macos has a macOS development branch. Neither offers a formal packaged release. Use the two packaged projects above for the installation steps on this site; choose these source projects if you want to work with development code.
BaraaZ95/uncharted_pc has testing prereleases. Treat those as test builds, and keep them separate from the current Windows recommendation. The full release lists expose the release's status so you can check it before selecting an asset.
Use a formal release for ordinary play. Choose a development branch when you intend to build or test its changes, and follow the instructions for that branch. For the packaged Linux installation on this site, choose v0.3.6-linux.81 and its game-data conditions above.
How this native port runs
The original PS4 x86-64 game code runs directly on the PC CPU. The runtime provides the interfaces the game expects and translates graphics to Vulkan, the graphics API used by the port. This is the PS4 Nathan Drake Collection route for Uncharted 1–3.
The project builds on bbport, the Linux Bloodborne runtime by deadinside28, and the shadPS4 renderer. SuperMedo maintains the Windows Uncharted project; spacepepperoni maintains this packaged Linux fork. Their launcher settings and game-data conditions should be read for the selected Uncharted release.
To continue, use Game files & version to inspect the prepared directory, then Install for the steps on your operating system. Once the game opens, Controls explains inputs and settings. For a crash or black screen, start with Match the symptom.
